A Health Lesson from a Basketball Team

As I was watching a basketball game this weekend, I became aware of some similarities between what is required to be a strong, winning team, and what it takes to be really healthy and be your best physically, mentally and in every other way.

The strongest basketball teams all have three things in common;

1) They always play to win, rather than employing a “prevent-defense” and trying NOT to lose.

2) They are the best prepared and conditioned so they can handle whatever comes their way.

3) They have the best communication both between the individual members of the team, and between the players and the coach.

This allows them to be the STRONGEST they can be. And more times than not, they come out on the winning end of their contests, which also means they end up having the most fun!

The same can be said of you and your body. YOU and your body are the strongest when you;

1) Play to WIN, rather than using a preventive and defensive strategy, trying to NOT lose. This means mostly focusing on the positive things in life including;
a. What’s going right, rather than what’s not.
b. What you HAVE to be GRATEFUL for, rather than what’s missing.
c. What you WANT to see happen, rather than what you fear and DON’T want to see happen.

2) You are the best prepared and conditioned because of your healthy lifestyle. This has two very important parts;
a. It minimizes poisons, pollutants, chemicals, and things that weaken you.
b. It maximizes nutrients and other things your body needs so that it can do what it is asked to do as efficiently as possible.

3) You have good communication within your body. In order for your Innate Intelligence to be able to keep you on top of your game, it must be able to correctly comprehend and respond to everything both internally and in your external environment. This requires a clear neurological connection between your brain and all of the trillions of cells in your body.

Because of the intimate connections between your spine and your nerve system, the only way to maintain a clear brain-body connection is to make sure your spine is correctly aligned and fully functioning.
